My-Melodies specializes in traveling lessons where our experienced instructors bring all the tools they could ever need to teach right to your door saving you time and stress.

Seen on the right is our very own, Teacher’s Toolkit. Every My-Melodies traveling teacher is equipped with one to bring the fun to you. It’s jam-packed with anything you could need for learning with every age group all in a travel size suitcase.
An iPad Air loaded with music games and apps to help put a fun spin on reading, composition, ear-training and a large digital sheet music library with about anything you could think of.
Our teachers also use these to send lesson notes of what to work on after each lesson directly to parent’s or student’s emails.

A magnetic music whiteboard with colorful markers and magnets which is a perfect tool for learning how to read and write rhythms, notes, music theory and even learning how to compose music.

We use the four pillars of language as the cornerstone of our curriculum: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
Our unique approach to using the four pillars of language in every aspect of our curriculum and day-to-day teaching gives students a solid foundation and understanding of music that is similar to how children learn a new language. We pair this creative approach of language-based learning with giving students the power of choice.
Everyone has their own interests, ways of learning, goals to accomplish and what they really want to get out of studying music. We understand that and built our entire school around that idea. Our school offers several different branches and pathways that students can explore as their interests and passions develop or change over time. The illustration on the right is a good visual representation of our course map but we have more thorough written out explanation in the “Take Lessons” link below as well.
